Cross Country Farm is a farm established in 2002 by Mihnea Virgolici on the property of a former hop and cow farm in the village of Prod, Hoghilag commune, which he transformed into the land of happy horses and high-quality equestrian tourism at the international level. With 27 years of experience in equestrian sport, Mihnea Virgolici runs the farm with the desire to attract as many people as possible to responsible outdoor riding but also aims to train new generations of riders inthe performance area. He is also the organizer of the most popular equestrian event in Romania, the Karpatia Horse Show, held on the Cantacuzino Floreoti Prahova estate, as well as the olderbTransylvania Horse Show, held on the Cross Country Farm estate and awarded "Best Student Horse Show in the World" six years in a row.

Cross Country Farm is an exclusive equestrian tour operator, partnering with Pferd Reiter, the world's largest and leading equestrian tour operator, which means that bookings for equestrian enthusiasts can be made up to six months in advance. In Romania, CCF is one of the two initiators of the Federation of Equestrian Tourism, an instrument aimed at raising quality and safety in outdoor riding in Romania, a federation affiliated to FTEI.
