The SoNoRo Strings Orchestra was launched on 29 December 2024 at the Romanian Athenaeum, alongside SoNoRo's first New Year's Concert. Composed mainly of scholarship holders from the SoNoRo Interferences programme, the launch brought together these young musicians for the first time. These talented artists, who have benefited from the guidance of SoNoRo maestros as part of a unique music education programme in Romania, bring their energy and passion to the stage in concerts that celebrate a new generation of musicians and the promise of a vibrant artistic future. The orchestra will bring together at SoNoRo Musikland several former SoNoRo Interferences scholarship holders, who will perform alongside the festival artists.
