Alberto, a dedicated violist from Almería, Spain, began his musical journey at the age of nine, studying viola at the local conservatory. Despite starting formal viola studies relatively late, Alberto was deeply immersed in a rich musical tradition from an early age, a heritage rooted in his family’s passion for the arts. He participated in various masterclasses and youth orchestras throughout Andalusia and across Spain, which provided invaluable early performance experience and a broad musical foundation.

Adding many masterclasses with renowned teachers as: Leo de Neve, Yuval Gotlibovich, Michael Thomas, Aarón Zapico. At eighteen, Alberto moved to Granada to pursue a bachelor’s degree, studying under the esteemed professors José Ramos Casariego and Almudena García Sánchez. Their mentorship was instrumental in shaping his technical expertise and artistic development. In his final year of study, a pivotal encounter at a festival in Malaga introduced him to Professor Răzvan Popovici, with whom he now studies. Currently in his second year under Professor Popovici’s guidance, Alberto continues to refine his craft, embracing new challenges and expanding his artistic horizons.
